Tim Mullett is the Executive Director of Saigon Children’s Charity CIO, a UK registered educational charity operating in Vietnam whose mission is to give disadvantaged children the opportunity to get an education.

Originally from Bath, in the UK, and a graduate of Manchester University, Tim served in the British Royal Navy for eight years as a Logistics Officer, gaining subsequent general management experience in a wide range of commercial and service industries.

Tim came to Vietnam in 2002 as the initial Director of Support Services for FV Hospital, the country’s first international standard general hospital before moving into education as General Manager of Apollo Education and Training, one of Vietnam’s foremost private education brands. Combining education and the not-for-profit sector, he became Director of the International Management Initiative for Vietnam (IMIV), a Clinton Global Initiative social enterprise project within the VinaCapital Foundation to build capacity in management and leadership in Vietnam, before taking up his current role in October 2014.

A former consular warden and Board Member of the British Business Group Vietnam, Tim is married to Kim and has lived in Ho Chi Minh City for over 13 years.
