VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME
Continue to introduce SCC programme to local community:
October 2015, SCC’s staff visited several wards of district 5 to introduce the programme to local residents, especially disadvantaged youngsters between the ages of 18 and 25, and received warm welcome from local authorities.

In November, students visited Caravelle Hotel to understand more about the professionalism of hotel industry and career opportunities and be motivated to study and work harder.
Other occupational classes:
In the quarter 4 of 2015, at least 9 trainees completed their studying and have been employed with stable salary, especially trainees of hairdressing and CNC turnery.

October 2015, the “Work Attitude” workshop was organized for students of vocational training programs to help them realize the importance of work attitude in career success; hence, develop a desire to always express positive attitude, especially in their work.

THANG LONG SCHOOL:
English communication practices with international volunteers:
In order to help students improve their English communication skills, since July 2015, the school has organized monthly practice sessions with international volunteers. Van Thuc Dan, Intermediate Class, shares: “Thanks to these practice sessions, now I can communicate with foreigners more comfortably, not being shy and nervous like before”.
We hope that with the strong support from international volunteers, we will be able to continue this activity to help our students’ English communication skills progress.

"CAREER CONSULTING FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS IN DISTRICT 8" PROJECT
In implementation of the project “Career Consulting for secondary students in District 8”, the second workshop on “Career Consulting Skills for secondary students” was held in 2 days 28-29 November 2015, with the participation of 28 teachers of 2 secondary schools in district 8.
After the workshop, a teacher commented: “I feel very satisfied as this is extremely useful to my work.”
