The 9th H2H charity ride – a 2000 km cycling campaign to transform the lives of children in need

From 31st Mar to 27th Apr, a diverse group of 20 volunteer riders from 8 countries (USA, UK, Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand and Vietnam) will be embarking on an incredible 28-day charitable bike ride through more than 2000km of Vietnam’s spectacular countryside to raise funds for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

Started in 2009, H2H has raised over $283,000 to date to support disadvantaged children to gain access to education. 2018 is the 9th year that the route has been pedaled between Hanoi Capital and Ho Chi Minh City.

Raymond Guerra – one of our rider shared: “I knew that I wanted to give back to the society that is allowing me to fulfill my longtime dream to live in Vietnam. And I found a volunteer opportunity that is equal parts challenging, purposeful, and rewarding –– the annual H2H Charity Bike Ride

Even though the ride has not begun, riders have raised over 70% of the target, and donations can still be made on Justgiving.com throughout the ride and until end of May. All funds raised will be shared between five deserving charities across Vietnam, including lead charity partner Saigon Children’s Charity (saigonchildren), The ILA Community Network, Live and Give, Know One Teach One (KOTO), and the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

This year’s most generous sponsors include DHL, Repsol, Giant Bicycles Vietnam, Mr.Biker Saigon, Dymax Corporation, Family Medical Practice Vietnam, Centralia College, TBC Ball, OM Factory, Heart of Darkness Brewery Saigon and Saigon Outcast who have not only donated time and money, but also motivational support.
