In 2019, the Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (H2H) charity bike ride celebrated their 10th anniversary with another successful biking journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city. This event started on March 20th and lasted for an astonishing 28 days, travelling 2,000 kilometres.
This charity ride, completely run by volunteers, helped raised $48,815.33 (1.1 billion VND) by the time it ended on April 26th. We are thankful for the 15 volunteers who took part in this activity, within the 15 volunteers there were people that came back to attempt the bike ride a second or even a third time.

The news coverage on this occasion was outstanding with 21 new reports in total, in which there are 12 English e-newspapers, 5 Vietnamese e-newspapers and a Vietnamese newspaper reporting on this. Moreover, there were broadcastings from VTV3, Thanh Nien Media and 2 BBC Radio Lancashire featuring Jane Gradwell, who is one of the volunteers in the H2H charity bike ride. 100 percent of the funds raised from this charity event were issued to five different charities, besides Saigon Children’s Charity, there were KOTO, ILA Community Network, Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation and Live and Give.
