On 19th March 2019, Mr Vincent Floreani, the French Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives from Chateau Angelus visited the two schools in Tra Vinh Province.The schools were built by saigonchildren with the financial support from donors of the prestigious brand Chateau Angelus in France.

During the visit, kids studying in the Long Vinh kindergarten and Long Vinh B primary school were gifted with school supplies. The ceremony was enjoyable and cozy with clown performance, dancing, singing performance from kids, and the sincere sharing from sponsors who helped to build new learning environment in this local area.

Sharing in the ceremony, Ms. Bong Grelat-Tram, representative Chateau Angelus said: “I was born and grew up here in Tra Vinh province. When I went to France, I always wanted to come back and support children in my home town. I could see my brothers, sisters and myself in the children we visited. My wish is that children living in rural areas would have the same equal opportunity that other children in Vietnam should have to grow up successfully and happy in the best possible conditions…”

Especially, the schools built by Chateau Angelus use the signature bell of this brand as a symbol to express the thanks from the schools to whom supported them.
*The Chateau Angelus Wine Auction Dinner, took place in December 2017, successfully raised US$97,569 from generous bidders, providing a vital fund to build two new schools that help around 300 children each year in Tra Vinh province. The construction process took around four months as expected, from June to early October 2018, which built one new primary school, one kindergarten and renovated one classroom with the surroundings, including hygiene facilities, a playground, and additional storage
