“Communication and Life Skills” was the topic of the Festival. This was the advantage opportunity for parents to practise how to teach their child the communication and life skills which are necessary for them to include to the community. The knowledge and skills were slightly transferred through games competition. Parents enthusiastically guided children to achieve tasks which were folding clothes, cooking, transferring the messages, ect. Hence they could feel and learn themselves the best methods to support their children at home. The children also recognised the importance of learning those skills: “I need to know how to cook; so that when parents are not at home, I am not hungry; and when parents come late from work, dinner will be ready for all of us” – one of students said.
