On 26th February 2008 SCC was invited to Pizza Hut’s restaurant in 19 Le Thanh Ton Street to receive a cheque for $1000 which came from sales and donations from customers and staff at the Pizza Hut restaurants.  At the presentation an additional $4,000 was pledged by Yum Brands – the parent company of Pizza Hut.  Two months later, on the 22nd April, this money was translated into scholarships for 60 disadvantaged children in Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province.

Pizza Hut is also providing internship and jobs for students in SCC’s Hospitality Programme, opening the door into a stable career and better life for these youths who are not less talented or dedicated but just disadvantaged.
