Vocational Training is growing rapidly in importance for Vietnam and for the young people here. Without a university degree or high school certificate it can be  impossible to find a job with a real future if you can find one at all. SCC is therefore committing increasing time and attention to this area.  The plan will be for all young people in the SCC scholarship programme to benefit from vocational training support and guidance and, depending on what is available or of interest, to enable them to take up relevant courses that will ensure they can offer a trade or a skill that is in demand and will help them to secure good quality employment.

SCC has always been involved in this area of work and we currently support vocational training in Thang Long School as well as running a specialist course called Saigon Hospitality.  Watch this area for news on new developments!

Provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access to vocational skills which will lead to reasonable, well-paid and stable employment in growth sectors of the economy.
