Time slips away so quickly, and before we know it, another holiday season is just within sight. Here at the saigonchildren’s office, we’re delighted to announce the arrival of our thoughtfully crafted Christmas and Tet holiday cards for the 2023 version.
This year, we are offering three designs of Christmas cards and three designs of Tet cards, all beautifully illustrated by children with autism from the early intervention class, which is part of our Special Education Programme.
The production of these cards also wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of An Sen, a former student at Thang Long School, who played a crucial role in designing and bringing these cards to life.

🌟 Each card is sold for VND30,000, with all profit goes to the Special Needs Education Programme and the other programmes of saigonchildren to support underprivileged children access their deserving education.
Over the course of the year, saigonchildren has nurtured these children’s artistic abilities, encouraging them to experiment with different styles and colour combinations and providing creative support. On April 8th, we hosted a mini art exhibition in collaboration with UOB Vietnam and Special Em’s Education Centre to present the children’s artwork and explore further the various sensory experiences that children with autism may face. We believe it is valuable for the children’s work to be shared since they display extraordinary talent.
Additionally, art experience sessions with materials, tools, and colours were conducted through a collaboration between saigonchildren and artist groups. Lily NgocNguyen, an art therapist, as well as a dedicated saigonchildren’s volunteer moderating these art sessions, expressed, “For children, art is a method for them to express their personalities and their inner worlds, helping them learn more about themselves. Art therapy has been exhibited and proven to have a positive impact on children’s psychology, and drawing is one of the techniques.”
