With the goal of providing safe and sustainable learning environments to children in our project areas, saigonchildren established the Community Management Unit (CMU) for each project. These CMUs consist of teachers, parents, and people living in the neighborhoods of the construction areas. Members of the CMU work to give a helping hand to saigonchildren in supervising activities to ensure the transparency and publicity of the project. CMU members are responsible for keeping up-to-date with the progress of the construction and supervising the materials during the building process. After the school is ready to use, the CMU continues to support the Board of Management to ensure that the facility remains in good quality.
On 28 March, officers of the School Building Program from saigonchildren held a training session for CMU members in different areas of the school building projects in 2018.
