For the last 2 years, Barrington Education Initiative (BEI) Foundation has collaborated with saigonchildren in 2 main programmes: School Building Programme and Child Development Scholarship Programme. After gaining in-depth understanding about saigonchildren and the needs of the local community, in 2017, BEI Foundation graciously offered €3,000 out of US$15,000 to renovate Song Ray Kindergarten in Dong Nai province. The Song Ray project is in the process to complete the counterpart fund to kick start.
Soon after, around 105 children in Song Ray will have a new, safe and appropriate environment to study.

Continuing the support to the local community, in 2018, BEI sponsored 28 high school students and 1 university student for the 2018 -2019 academic year with the total fund of €5,000. These students are carefully selected based on their family’s living circumstances, including finances, health, and other factors. These packages differ from student to student, based on their individual needs, but they typically include textbooks, school materials, uniform fees, tuition fees, and potentially additional support for glasses and bicycles, along with other materials.
From this kind act, more and more children in Vietnam with difficult background are offered with a fairer start in their life. We are truly grateful to the foundation’s valuable donation, and our children will be absolutely much appreciated this generous support.
The Barrington Education Initiative (BEI) is an Austrian private charitable foundation. BEI cooperate with locally-based non-governmental organisations and professionals and are thus guided by their commitment, knowledge and experience. BEI’s projects are exceptionally varied and include, amongst other issues, the development and upgrading of existing facilities and resources in order to create a healthy, safe and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. Contributing to life improvement provisions for children in Asia, the Middle East and Africa is therefore a focal point of BEI |
