Last week, thanks to the donations from Cibes Lift Vietnam Co., Ltd, 30 wheelchairs were awarded to 30 students with disability at Hoang Mai Special School in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Hoang Mai Special School was established in 1995, provides intervention and special education for over 100 children with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Down syndrome and autism from 4 to 18 years of age free of charge. Most of the students in Hoang Mai Special School are children from disadvantaged backgrounds whose parents are unable to afford appropriate equipment for them to support their mobility and learning. In fact, walking and moving without proper support for a long time has led to worsened postures in many of the students.
Not only giving 30 wheelchairs, but the Cibes team also brought 110 sets of gifts to all of the school’s students. All of these practical gifts will help them in their journey of education, and also bring warmth to their families as they know that there are many people who care about their children.
