Our friends at Lenovo Vietnam, the multinational technology company, joined us on June 21st 2019, to support the ‘Getting Ready For Work Programme’ of Saigonchildren, at Thang Long English and Vocational Training School.
During this trip, Lenovo provided the school a set of 27-inch LED computers, in order to replace the old ones and create a better learning environment for the students. These computers will help the students to have better tools to serve their learning goals and career orientation in the future. The Thang Long teachers and students found this gesture extremely meaningful, as these generous gifts will go a great way towards enhancing the students’ learning potential.
At Thang Long school, students are able to attend many kinds of skill training classes, such as; Photography, Art, English, Computer Skills, and so on. As well as this, their learning programmes are continually updated to attract more students.
In 2019, Thang Long English and Vocational Training School began repairing the campus, replacing old facilities. These gifts from Lenovo have really refreshed the school environment at Thang Long School, helping around 500 children – direct beneficiaries of the program.
