On last May 26th, “Children’s Festival” is organized successfully by saigonchildren at Tieu Can High school, Tra Vinh province with the participation of around 400 students from Child Development Scholarship Programme (CDSP).
“Children’s Festival” was organized by saigonchildren before the summer vacation to build a playground for students of all levels from CDSP to meet and have fun. Besides, this festival is an occasion for saigonchildren, the parents and local authorities to encourage and inspire kids on their learning path.
Preparation for the festival
At this festival, students of all levels from primary school to high school from CDSP at Tieu Can district attended the festival that had many fun activities that helped build team-work spirit and improve soft-skills.
“Children’s Festival” gathered 377 students from Child Development Scholarship Programme of saigonchildren
Besides taking part in outdoor games, the students who achieved good grades in the last semester received rewards as an encouragement. This event involved university students of CDSP to join and support the event that their their younger brothers and sisters were in.
After the event, there are many sharing from students to their older brothers and sisters of CDSP, also to saigonchildren. Kim Ngoc, an 11-grade student said:
“… Like everyone else, I have my own dream. I want to become a pharmacist to educate everyone about how to use the medicine the right way. I realized that people around me overuse medicine, especially pain relievers. I know it’s hard to reach my dream without Saigonchildren’s support. We need to work together for a better future and I believe: I CAN’T. YOU CAN’T. BUT WE CAN”
