Through almost 26 years of operation, saigonchildren has been very fortunate to have received tremendous help from different organizations working in many different sectors. In their own unique ways, they have all used their own expertise to support us on the mission to remove barriers to a quality education.
Mr. Ian Gibbons – the British Consulate General in Vietnam and Mr. Chew Siong Keng – Operation Director of Nippon Paint Vietnam cut the ribbon to signal the official reopening
On November 29th, saigonchildren hosted the reopening ceremony of saigonchildren with the participation of staff together with our prestigious donors and distinguished guests, including Mr. Ian Gibbons – the British Consulate General in Vietnam and the representatives of the two companies that helped to bring the new look to our office: Ms. Nguyễn Hồ Ngọc Thi – director of InConcept Design and Mr. Chew Siong Keng – Operation Director of Nippon Paint Vietnam.
“This organisation is doing things that really matter, changing people’s lives every day. You all deserve to have an office you can be proud of and you will be proud of this one.” Mr. Ian Gibbons – the British Consulate General in Vietnam said in the ceremony.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nippon Paint for sponsoring the project and Inconcept Design for their advice on the interior floor plan and design. The new office now offers a more productive working environment to engage all the employees, and also creates a more appropriate and comfortable space for meeting with children, parents and donors.
“Now we have a much brighter, cleaner, safer and more welcoming place to invite donors and it feels like a great place to plan for the future” – Mr. Damien Roberts – saigonchildren Executive Director shared in the Ceremony.
