This year is not only challenging for us adults but has also been extra tough for disadvantaged children in Vietnam. A year with many periods of school closure and lockdown has left potentially long-term impacts on all children.
Children have been unable to go to school, some kids even missed out on a whole semester due to lack of access to online learning. Many children have suffered from hunger because their families are economically exhausted due to the prolonged pandemic. Some are taken away from home, stranded in the city because of travel restrictions, and even have to fight COVID by themselves. There are families where all members are infected with COVID. And most tragically, many kids have lost their parents or loved ones to the pandemic.

Those pains will be there for a long time, the difficulties are not going to disappear any time soon as the consequences of the pandemic are so severe. But the children deserve to end the year 2021 with hopes.
?????????? ???? campaign returns this Christmas season to bring to you our children’s stories, and invite you to help them welcome a new year with new hope.
All of your donations will be put towards saigonchildren’s four programmes, focusing on removing barriers to education for Vietnamese underprivileged children. Together, we can make this Christmas the most memorable one ever for these kids and many others.
