“You cannot be wimpy out there on the dream-seeking trail. Dare to break through barriers, to find your own path”. What American speaker Les Brown inspires is totally true to the life story of Tran Dinh Vuong, who did not because of difficult circumstances to lose his passion and orient himself to the future.
Vuong was born in 1996 in a family belonging to the poor household of Ward 15, District 5. Vuong’s parents are getting older and have no stable job. He used to work as a side worker in the town (any job requested), earning about 2 million per month. Domestic spending relies heavily on Vuong’s sister who work as a worker and earn about 5 million / month. Currently, the Vuong family is living with 3 uncle’s family in their grandparents’ house, the sanitation condition is very poor.
Despite of difficulty and struggling, Vuong never discouraged or surrendered to fate.
In 2017, after completing the local military service, he quickly determined that he had to study something so that he could develop himself as well as help his family. From a young age, Vuong was a child who was inclined to love repairing and searching. Moreover, he was also interested in refrigeration industry, which he can delight himself with his passion for repairing machines.
With a clear orientation, in May 2018, he went to Saigonchildren’s Charity for vocational training support. With an interest in learning and diligence, he completed the first level of vocational training in November 2018. But in order to earn extra income to support my family, he decided to continue studying and working for Xuan Vuong Company in Binh Tan District. With the progress of skills, at the end of December 2018, Vuong registered for a skill improvement test of level 3/7 of Hung Vuong school.
Vuong is working for Xuan Vuong Co., located in Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District.
After completing the advanced study program, he now has a stable job with the current basic salary of 5.8 mil VND per month. If the monthly sales are achieved, Vuong’s income would increase significantly. But with his determination and progress every day, we believe this boy will grow even more to prove one thing: fate has never been a barrier!
