Nguyen Tuan Trung – Thang Long School’s Alumni.
“When I was in sixth grade my family had a very difficult financial situation. My father was a bricklayer and my mother peeled garlic to make money while I could do nothing but study hard. I was offered a place at Thang Long School to study English free of charge. When I was 18, I passed the entrance exam to university but my parents could not afford the tuition. The scholarships from saigonchildren were life-changing for me at that time. Later they offered me a two-year Japanese course. Thanks to that support, today I’m a design engineer at NIDEC Vietnam Corporation, a big Japanese company. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if there wasn’t help from saigonchildren.”
